The Gift Certificates can be for either the The Balmain Paddle ($90/person) or the The Billy Blue Paddle ($65/person).
How do you get it?
You can buy online now via secure PayPal transaction with the option to use Credit Card (MasterCard or Visa) or a PayPal account. Simply click on the appropriate icon below.
Please include the following information in the Name to appear on Certificate? box on page 2 of the payment page:
1) The name of the person receiving the Gift Certificate.
2) If there is more than one person please let me know if you want separate gift certificates for each or if one certificate is OK.
The certificate will be mailed to you via Express Post.
The gift certificates are normally valid for 6 months and are valid for weekends only however we normally close for winter in June.
When your friend decides on their preferred date they just need to ring to check availability and make the booking. Generally booking a week or two in advance is OK - only occasionally we are completely booked out by groups.
If you are organising a trip with friends it's best to plan a couple of dates in case the first one is postponed due to bad weather.
If the forecast or weather conditions mean the trip is not suitable for the skill level of the participants then we will postpone the trip. We need an entire morning of decent weather.
If you have any other questions feel free to email me. I can generally answer emails immediately when they are sent during business hours.
Who can do our trips?
Most our customers are beginners but be aware this can be an adventurous activity so it's not quite white water rafting but it's not a walk in the park either.
If a person can't get out of a swimming pool without using the ladder then they wouldn't be able to climb back in a kayak if they fell out.
- Minimum age is 15 years.
- Maximum height is 6'5" (195 cm) - otherwise you won't fit!
- Maximum weight 100 kg.
- All participants must be able to swim.
Sorry - no exceptions to the above conditions
More questions?
- No I've never seen a shark in nearly 20 years paddling in Sydney.
- You are unlikely to tip over. We use double sea kayaks which are quite stable.
- Can you pay by other means? Yes. You can buy the certificate by posting a cheque for the required amount to the address below. Cheques should be made payable to "Natural Wanders". If you don't have a cheque account you can get a Postal Note from any Post Office. If you are posting a cheque please let me know via email along with all the details (name to appear on certificate, your name, address and phone number).
If you have any other questions just send me an email.
During business hours I usually answer these immediately (unless I'm at lunch).
