The Kayaks We use real sea kayaks ! We use double (two-person) "Dusky Bay" sea kayaks with foot operated rudders and water tight gear compartments. They are approx 20ft long and are constructed of fibreglass. They are fast and stable. One of our kayaks was used in the 2000 Hawkesbury Classic which is a 110km race from Windsor to Brooklyn and it broke the record for this class - finishing in around 10 hours 40 mins! Your guide will usually paddle in a single kayak.
